Hi, I'm Jill! I never meant to be a full-time photographer - but somehow, here I am. I started my career as a newspaper reporter, and left that to be a writer and photographer for a public university. Almost 10 years into my second career, I was laid off - so I turned some pretty sour lemons into Lemonade Photography. I'm a lifelong Northwesterner, a mom to two boys, a nature lover, a proud geek and quite possibly the biggest Harry Potter fan you'll ever meet (don't challenge me to a Potter trivia contest; you WILL lose). I love to laugh, and I love to make my clients laugh along with me.

I started Lemonade Photography in 2009 with the goal of bringing quality wedding & family portrait photography to Kitsap County. And in more than a decade since, I've learned that it's less about the quality of the photos and more about the experience.
